Ms. Sei-Hee Arii is nothing less than an exceptional lawyer as well as a human being. When I was going through a very stressful situation she was able to bring the event to a close with the best possible result. Throughout my yearlong process Ms. Arii not only advised me flawlessly, but listened to my thoughts and ideas about my case and incorporated them into her defense after taking the time to openly discuss the possible effects of my situation and courses of action with me in depth. I found Ms. Arii through a website, selecting her based off of reviews and accolades. I can confidently say that Ms. Arii met or exceeded every high expectation that I had. Even when my situation was long and drawn out, Ms. Arii consulted me on her plan of action and walked me through every step along the way. I cannot say enough good things about the level of service Ms. Arii provided to me. I am not the type to write a review whether the level of service is good or bad….but if I could give Ms. Arii 10 starts I would.

She was very professional, very helpful, explained everything with detail, very patient and, responded within a reasonable amount of time. I was also very happen with the outcome of my case.

Ms. Arii, provided excellent legal counsel. She thoroughly reviewed the facts, stated which courses of actions were available and then provided support and advisement through the entire process. Having an excellent lawyer is not only an asset in the court room, but it is calming on the nerves. There were many times, that I allowed my emotions to take root. Each time she explained via rational thought the [probability] of each fear, and then she helped guide me to a successful resolution. If you are in need of an excellent lawyer, then I would strongly advise Ms. Arii.

I was charged with a DUI in late 2014. I’ve never had any run-ins with the law before and didn’t know where to even start looking for a lawyer to handle my case. I talked to a number of DUI lawyers and ended up choosing Sei-Hee, a decision I’m so glad I made. I wanted Sei-Hee to represent me because she showed genuine interest in my case, whereas I felt like “just another routine DUI case” when I reached out to other lawyers and firms. Sei-Hee is a very understanding person, super responsive, and knows the MoCo court system well. She kept me informed throughout the process and was very helpful in accommodating my schedule and the fact I reside and work in NYC. Additionally, she did her due diligence to look beyond the just the surface of what happened to get the full story. First time DUI in Maryland, had no idea what to expect. I called Sei-Hee the next morning and she was immediately kind, understanding, and knowledgeable about the entire process – something I really needed after the traumatic arrest night. I was charged [redacted] for representation in the criminal case. I’m not sure how this compares to other lawyers as she’s the first one I’ve used. There’s payment plans if needed. The MVA case is separate and she prepares you well for you to do it on your own – it’s fairly straightforward and I had no issues getting a restricted license. There’s an extra charge for her to be there during the MVA case if you feel you need it. I was well over the legal limit, but Sei-Hee negotiated my DUI down to a DWI. I also got a PBJ by following her instructions on what to do before court. It was also clear she was the most knowledgeable/experienced attorney in the court room. I would definitely recommend her to my friends/family or, god forbid, hire her again for myself if needed.

I was faced with a legal situation (DUI) this summer and immediately turned to Google. After many searches for the Montgomery County area, Sei-Hee’s name kept popping up. I called her and after our initial phone conversation, I knew that she was the lawyer I wanted to hire. She made the process smooth and made sure that I understood all of my responsibility on my end. It was important to me to know what all I could be doing towards my case as far as which classes to take and how to proceed with my 90 day driving suspension. When it came time for my court date, she eased my nerves talking me through the process and what to expect. When I met her in the courtroom that morning I was immediately eased with her knowledge of the proceedings. I personally had a favorable outcome that was not anticipated. Sei-Hee did a fantastic job in preparing me for all outcomes because you truly don’t know what to expect prior to the courtroom. Regardless of what outcome I would have received that day, Sei-Hee was by my side and made me understand everything. I highly recommend her based on her skill, knowledge, and personal skills.

Sei-Hee truly understood my case and was very kind. What struck me the most was that she always answered my questions, represented me and made sure that my case was presented fairly. She was upfront and honest about her approach and what could be expected and tried her best to represent me. In my case, she went out of her way to get the most favorable judgement and I cannot be more happy than that. If you run into any criminal related issues and would want to use a lawyer I strongly recommend Sei-Hee, she is professional, smart and wants the best for her clients.

Hiring C. Sei-Hee Arii as my DUI/DWI lawyer was one decision I do not regret. She used her extensive knowledge of the law and being very resourceful to get me out of a sticky situation and I genuinely feel like she was fighting for me in court. She has very competitive rates and in additional to handling the district court hearings she also coaches you on the MVA administrative hearing and she does all this in a way that makes you feel comfortable and not doubt hiring her. She got all my charges dropped at the end of the day and I am forever going to be thankful for her diligent work.

In a nightmare situation, Sei-Hee helped me not only legally but also psychologically; I’d contacted other lawyers before finding her, and I can honestly say she was the only one that seemed to actually pay attention to my personal, specific situation, offering advice that suited my exact situation – very much unlike the other lawyers I’d contacted (it’s worth mentioning that my initial consultation over the phone was with Sei-Hee herself, not an assistant that couldn’t care less like the others I’d contacted). Sei-Hee was professional, made communication extremely easy, and took time to address a related issue/question that popped up. In such a stressful time, she really did put my mind at ease while being straightforward and honest. The outcome at court was best case scenario – a result due to her ability to present my case (and me as a decent citizen) convincingly.
