Facing a judge after blowing a .019 and reckless driving isn’t the easiest, but with Sei-Hee Arii by my side I was confident. She fought to get me the best outcome possible, which for me was a PBJ, 8 hrs of community service & to attend a [MADD] class. This was my first offense, but the courtroom did not want to take it easy on me by any means. Sei-Hee did everything in her power to help me with this case, including offering to go to trial if that’s what needed to be done. She definitely knows what she’s doing & she stood out in the courtroom compared to the other attorneys when it came to being [knowledgeable] about the law.

She was successful in [obtaining] a nolle prosequi (dismissal) of my DUI/DWI charges. I paid a $140 negligent driving ticket, a 1 point violation that will remain on my driving record for only 2 years. After court, after advising me of my expungement rights, I decided to file for [expungement] immediately by executing a General Waiver and Release. As a professional courtesy and without charge, she assisted me in filing the expungement paperwork. It was the day before thanksgiving and I was on my way home from a friend’s high school reunion and I get pulled over and blow a 0.18, well above the legal limit. Shortly after being released I found Ms. Arii through some online researching. She was very understanding and helped ease my anxiety. Her pricing was also not astronomical as other firms were trying to charge me. Luckily I recorded my altercation on my phone and Ms. Arii did a thorough job in comparing my recording to what the police officer wrote on his report and developed a defense, even if it was a weak one. Although anonymous, I am not ashamed to say that I am a high school student. I was arrested on New Year’s Day, with a .08 BAC. I was given 4 tickets due to my DUI situation. My life was spiraling downwards because of the stupid decision I made, and I continued to agonize over the burden I placed on myself and my whole family until I met Ms. Sei Hee.
