I was charged a DUI/DWI on a first offense and it has been one of the most nerve wrecking event in my life. I soon went online to find an attorney where I found Arii Law Firm. I reached out during off office hours and left a message, she called me back very shortly and gave me some advice and pointers as for my next steps to face the charges. That made me feel calm, more than I had in days. Whenever I had doubts or questions, she was always available and always had the answers I needed. Ms. Sei-Hee Arii recently represented me for a DUI case in which I was very pleased with the outcome. During consultation she was very honest with me about my possible consequences, from worst to best, with it being my 2nd alcohol related offense. She advised me on programs to attend before my court date that could lead to a more favorable sentencing in front of the judge. She was successful in [obtaining] a nolle prosequi (dismissal) of my DUI/DWI charges. I paid a $140 negligent driving ticket, a 1 point violation that will remain on my driving record for only 2 years. After court, after advising me of my expungement rights, I decided to file for [expungement] immediately by executing a General Waiver and Release. As a professional courtesy and without charge, she assisted me in filing the expungement paperwork. Sei-Hee was referred to me by another lawyer and mutual friend and after my experience with her work I have referred her to several other potential clients. She is generous with her time, thorough and a creative problem solver. When it was clear that there was a possibility to settle our case out of court we proceeded to arbitration. When the arbitration was unsuccessful she taught us how to proceed to take over a large part of the work ourselves in order to save money and report back to her for advice on how to resolve the dispute in court until she was needed again at the end. I am in the process now of filling out the forms she sent me to update my mother’s will, create trusts and do end of life planning.
