In a nightmare situation, Sei-Hee helped me not only legally but also psychologically; I’d contacted other lawyers before finding her, and I can honestly say she was the only one that seemed to actually pay attention to my personal, specific situation, offering advice that suited my exact situation – very much unlike the other lawyers I’d contacted (it’s worth mentioning that my initial consultation over the phone was with Sei-Hee herself, not an assistant that couldn’t care less like the others I’d contacted). Sei-Hee was referred to me by another lawyer and mutual friend and after my experience with her work I have referred her to several other potential clients. She is generous with her time, thorough and a creative problem solver. When it was clear that there was a possibility to settle our case out of court we proceeded to arbitration. When the arbitration was unsuccessful she taught us how to proceed to take over a large part of the work ourselves in order to save money and report back to her for advice on how to resolve the dispute in court until she was needed again at the end. I am in the process now of filling out the forms she sent me to update my mother’s will, create trusts and do end of life planning. Ms. Sei-Hee Arii was personable and took care to learn about my situation. She was helpful from the initial consultation all the way to the end of the case. She made me aware of the worst case scenarios as well as best case scenarios. She helped me to be prepared for my court date and let me know what I needed to do to achieve a favorable verdict. Fortunately, with a little patience we were able to score the most desirable outcome. Overall, she is well informed in the law and also with the court system (judges, prosecutors etc) in Maryland which proved be beneficial in my case.
